Energy E in kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day equals power P in kilowatts (kW) multiplied by hours of use per day:

• E(kWh/day) = P(kW) × t(h/day)

Energy cost calculation

The energy cost per day in dollars is equal to the energy consumption E in kWh per day times the energy cost of 1 kWh:

• Cost($/day) = E(kWh/day) × Cost($/kWh)
